Information and Education
Assistance
As its main information and education tool, the Society has developed the GCSQ Information & Education Programme. This web site forms the backbone of that programme and was designed to provide holistic, timely and
authoritative information covering a broad range of issues related to gynaecological cancer. Although the programme is run by the Society, some assistance and medical information has come from the
Queensland Centre for Gynaecological
Cancer.
Using the information generated and continually updated to support this web site, the Society has developed a CD-ROM and print materials (booklets, leaflets and newsletters). These printed materials are available in PDF format from our
resources page. This was done to provide better access to the Programme to people in remote communities, where technology is limited, and in situations where multiple, simultaneous use is required.
The information contained in any GCS Information & Education Programme product is offered freely and is intended to inform and educate. It is not intended to be used as a substitute for professional diagnosis or clinical treatment. There is no substitute for seeking personal professional help.
One of the strengths of the Internet delivery medium over others is its interactivity. We welcome your questions, comments and suggestions. The Society may be contacted in any one or more of the following ways:
